Course Overview:

The Laser & Health Academy (LAHA) Master's Program Module III offers comprehensive instruction in advanced laser techniques for Periodontics, Peri-Implantitis, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, and Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBM) for pain control. This 4-day expert-guided hands-on clinical program is designed to equip attendees with deep knowledge and skills necessary to perform a wide range of advanced oral healthcare procedures with the Er:YAG (2,940nm) and Nd:YAG (1,064nm) lasers. The goal is to enable the attendees to gain the practical clinical knowledge and insights to immediately implement these techniques and procedures into everyday practice.

 Note:

Completion of LAHA Module I is a prerequisite for this course.

(LAHA Modules II, III, IV, & V may taken in any order.)

Laser-assisted Periodontics and Soft-Tissue Surgery:

  • TwinLight® Periodontal Treatment (Non-surgical and Surgical)
  • Frenectomy, Frenotomy
  • Gingivectomy, Gingivoplasty, aesthetic recontouring
  • Osseous Crown Lengthening
  • Lesions Removal (including aphthae and herpes)
  • Depigmentation of the Gingiva
  • Hemangioma and Other Vascular Lesions Treatment

 

Hard-tissue Surgery:

  • Sinus Lift
  • Osseous Surgery

 

Laser-assisted Implantology:

  • Cleaning and disinfection of implant sites
  • Implant exposure
  • Laser Assisted Peri-implantitis Treatment

 

Laser-assisted orthodontics:

  • Enamel preparation for brackets
  • Exposure of impacted teeth
  • Brackets removal (and veneer removal)
